This is the ultimate Dick Tracy Watch Phone. A note of caution though. You need to have at least a bit of tech know how to get this phone watch to its full potential. It is not only a great phone, with a very loud and clear speaker, bluetooth, and messaging, it also has the capability to hold two SIM cards and connect to wifi. It has a gmail ap and a google Maps ap. A really nice video and audio player. Once again, it has a very loud and clear speaker. Very surprising for a watch phone that size. It comes with a camcorder, a camera with a time delayed shutter,and a voice recorder. It is also Java enabled. It is loaded with some cool retro style video games. Tetris, breakout, and a really cool Super Mario game are ready to play. It has a very nice Fm radio with manual or digital scan. 03 DEC 13 - question to me was, does this watch need a seperate Smartphone to function. The answer is, no, this is a stand alone cell phone / watch combo. YOU provide the two SIM cards and the data storage chip and it works fine as a phone. I really like that it is dual SIM Cards. Blue tooth worked fine with Dr. Dre in-ear head set and fine with JawBone ERA. I am using SIM cards for ROSHAN and ELISAT here in Afghanistan and I have made calls and received calls just fine on both. I suspect using it in a country where coverage is more reliable would yield better service. My main gripes now that I've used it some are in order of importance to me: it is not water resistant, the battery pack is very fragile - my battery pack broke the third time I had the back off the watch and I was being careful. So what I did was take it to a friend of mine who repairs gyro cameras here in Afghanistan and had him re-solder the wires to the battery; we used slightly thicker wires as well. I also...

I found details of this on the Sony Ericson website and it did everything I wanted (2G + 3G, MMS, Bluetooth, camera). Sony E had discontinued it so bought it via Amazon. Works great and comes with software that allows you to connect your PC to the web via GPRS or 3G (you do need data services to be enabled with your air-time provider). If you want a small phone that doesn't randomly dial number when it's in your pocket I'd recommend this. 2. Wonderful phone, but not for everyoneThere used to be this opinion that in technology smaller is better. Especially for mobile phones. Obese lifestyles call for bigger devices, I suppose, but if your style is still of the old school and if you are on the right network, with some caveats this is the phone for you. Since it is exactly what I want, I am very happy with it. It's supposed to be a smart phone. And it IS smart, both in looks and in function. The package I got came with earphones and a European-plug charger. I was warned about this, and so invested in a European-to-N.American plug converter, and a USB data cable. I also invested in a new 4gig memory card, and reused my old bluetooth earpiece. Packaging may vary, so check very carefully what comes in the package you are getting. I bought it unlocked and dropped in the memomy card and the SIM from my prepaid old phone on the Rogers network in Canada. The screen is capacitive, unlike the previous Samsung star, so it's really easy to use. The music player is great, and the phone supports multi-tasking (though it drags the performance down a bit). For those of you who don't have a data plan, and don't plan on getting one for the future, the WiFi is a really nice touch because it allows you to browse the internet without being forced in a 2-year contract. Most of the phone that have wifi are smartphone, which carriers are requiring a data plan with, but this phone is a feature phone. wifi is a great "feature" on a "dumbphone". The only problem I have with this phone is the annoying QWERTY keypad while texting. The keys are really small, and I frequently press the "back" key instead of the "backspace" key. I'm getting used to it though, and it's also helpful that this phone has a feature that is similar to android's "swype", where you slide your... 2. Good BuyIf you want to save money on the purchase of an expensive cell phone, this is a good buy. It comes with a battery, charger and USB cable and had I not known I was buying a used phone, I would have thought it was new. Free shipping is a plus, also. I will certainly consider this source again next time I am looking for a cell phone. The phone is unlocked so can be used with the sim card of any service supplier, whether in the US or outside. I purchased this as a gift for someone in the Dominican Republic and there was no trouble getting service from a local supplier. The phone requires a micro sd card if you want to save music and photos, etc. That does not come with the phone so should be purchased at same time, unless you already have a card you can move from another phone. A smurf movie for the demanding adult.In response to some of the bad reviews here, I consider myself a pretty demanding adult but when I go to see a movie with little blue people in it I don't expect Hamlet. I expect cute, funny, light entertainment and this movie delivered in a big way. Like the previous movie, there are some simple wholesome life messages as well; "to be or not to be" it's not, but loving family members despite their faults is pretty good too. As in the previous movie, this theme repeats for the humans and the smurfs in a nice way. I'd like to comment on the short scene about peanut allergies. I didn't see it as making fun of peanut allergies but making fun of irresponsible adults who don't pay attention to allergies!. The acting is extremely appropriate, the comedy was great. There were some pretty special effects and I loved seeing bits of Paris in 3D. 2. grow upFor those of you that enjoyed this movie for what it is, congratulations!, you've grown up. As for you haters, this is a kids movie, intended for kids. It should not be filled with over-complicated plots, innuendos, or gratuitous violence to appease adult intellect or lack thereof. This movie did exactly what it was intended to do. It made my thirteen year old daughter happy and that alone is enough for me. As an adult, if you go into it light hearted, not looking for 'The Terminator' or 'Gone with the Wind', you may actually enjoy bonding with your kids. It's the 'Smurfs' people. These opening credits, by the way, are the only time I felt the 3D was used to any special effect. It's lovely for the travelogue/story that follows, but it does NOT enhance the plot. New Yorkers Patrick and Grace dash off to Paris to help their friends when Smurfette needs to be rescued.  This TV give to us some advantages, like this : 1. Possibly the best pilot I have ever seen....I have to say.... This one surprised me. I didn't really know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. It's funny. It's really f***ing funny. Only 10 minutes in and I was invested in the characters. Avinash is so dead-on and hysterical. I LOVE Hobbes. "Have you seen these robotic vaginas? .... Well, you will in 3-5 business days cuz I ordered one." And the Moby cameo is fantastic. "Did you ever f*** an octopus? I f***ed an octopus. Finally it's here for Android!I was introduced to the board game "Carcassonne" a couple of years ago by a relative, and since then, we and our wives have played several times, and it's always a lot of fun. Unfortunately, we can't all get together too often, so I've been hoping that an Android version would be released, and now it's here. I'm playing Carcassonne on my Kindle Fire, which has a nice screen size for the game. If you're not familiar with Carcassonne, it's a unique game where players build the landscape from colorful tiles containing pieces of fields, roads, cities, and cloisters. In turn, each player positions their tiles, and optionally, places a "Meeple" on any of several locations on the tile. The game continues until the tiles run out or none of the remaining tiles are playable. Points are awarded for controlling fields, roads, cities, and cloisters, and the player with the highest score wins. It's actually much easier to play than it sounds, but learning the proper strategies takes a... 2. Finally, a solid strategy board game for the Kindle FireWell worth the money. It is currently the best app I have for the Kindle Fire. The AI is challenging enough to keep my attention (in fact I always lose on higher difficulties). I am not a big fan of Carcassonne the board game, but it works very well as a mobile app. The computer takes care of all the scoring and bookkeeping. This app offers a lot of options for setup, you can choose different rule sets, number of opponents, etc. It also comes with The River expansion. Also a plea to developers: I want good, modern board games like Puerto Rico or Catan on my Kindle Fire, I am willing to pay $5 a pop for them if they are the quality of Carcassonne. I had the tilt device for two years, it was a good phone. I enjoyed being on the 3G network. I also used it to tether as a modem for my laptop, no issues there, great for visiting clients at Starbucks and not having to pay for internet. Really nice not having to fumble around with setup on that tethering. I used to watch youtube via player application, before youtube finally made their own plugin. I would check out Fifth Gear, top gear, etc episodes during my lunch hour, it was good fun, espcially with the tilt screen while I was eating. After two years the battery needed replacing, I never did, but it sure needed a new one. The charge was only lasting a couple hours. I dropped it twice, and had the screen replaced once for $100. The time the screen needed replacing it was thrown from the second story of my apartment, the phone is pretty durable. Most phones would have smashed to pieces. What can it do that an iPhone can't you ask? *... 2. A good workhorse Smartphone - fully featuredAs the title suggests, I consider this Smartphone to be a good work horse. A previous poster listed a few features on this device, I've expanded some of the detail on that and added some other info. * Tether as a modem - very helpful and less expensive than buying a standalone aircard. * Full keyboard - there is a soft keyboard you can type on without having to slide out the keyboard everytime you need to type something. * Can open, edit, save Microsoft office files (word, powerpoint, etc) (on an iPhone you can only view not edit). * Screen tilts - helpful to reduce glare * Create ringtones on the fly by choosing a song and right clicking - without additional cost Helpful tips for Windows Mobile Periodically Windows Mobile devices experience registry corruption. Great DeviceThis is a really good device. I have had many cellphones and PDA's and this is one of the best ones I have ever had. It is durable, has good battery life and an easy to use qwerty keyboard. The tilting action makes it easy to see what you are typing with no glare. The video resolution is good and SD card makes it as expandable as you want. You can switch out cards if you start running out of room or want to keep some files private. I highly recommend this device. I have used it in a busy medical practice loaded with references and resources; and with the Google mobile apps bar, I am on the internet in a flash and can access the web or my Google apps. Then I also purchased iOcean X7. I was surprised to learn that many Chinese smartphones have GPS problems, including iOcean X7. It took me a whole week to try to fix X7's GPS issues (tweaking AGPS, EPO, gps.conf, adding an external GPS antenna etc.) but to no avail. Then I learned that I have taken Zopo C2's high quality for granted. This smartphone's GPS worked right out of the box. I returned my iOcean X7 and bought another Zopo C2 (1.5GHz, 2GB RAM, 32GB ROM). To my pleasant surprise, this newer version of C2 is even better than my old Zopo C2. The video/picture qualities have improved significantly (beautiful vivid pictures even in low light) and the GPS worked even better (took less than 30s to fix right out of the box) than the previous C2 versions. 2. GREAT! BEAUTIFUL! but... HATE LAGGY TRANSITIONS!l love the phone.. beautiful screen, nice feel, great 13mp camera. for the price is a great deal. i bought mine used.. and it came with a broken camera flash.. but you know. used will never be like a brand new phone. the screen is very responsive.. no ghost touches or any weird stuff. beautiful and crystal clear images at the right color. the screen it's not overcharged with colors like AMOLED. Construction. feels very nice. the back cover it's dificult to snap in sometimes, but it gives a strong feel. volume and power buttons are OK. sometimes i feel like power button is going to get stuck,, just doesnt click nicely but you'll get used to it. the silver line across the phone makes it look nice, it IS plastic and the silver paint comes off easly with use, specially in the volume and power buttons. they'll turn black with time. the menu, home and back buttons are very responsive. but they don't light up as much as other phones. i really like the led... I got suckered into a 2 year contract with this phone through Verizon. You don't have to look far on the internet to see that other owners of this product are completely disappointed. If you are looking for a smartphone to increase productivity, look elsewhere. This phone always freezes, especially when you really need to use it. You have to pull the battery out many times a day because the phone overheats, sputters, and goes into fits. It can barely do the basics, that is make phone calls and text messages. I have been in situations where I can't make a call for over half an hour because I have to keep restarting this phone. The restart seems to take a minimum of 5 minutes each time. The touch screen often has a delayed reaction of over 15 seconds. This phone should never have been released. It is a total sham, and I feel robbed having been suckered into using this piece of junk. Now I'm tied to it like a boat anchor and for months. At least a boat anchor is useful. The only use this...
2. Samsung Dud, NOT Gem!
This phone is an epic fail and the only thing "smart" about it is in the name smart phone, which is a complete misnomer as I often feel dumbed down when I try to use it! My old cell phone died on me, and Verizon offered this phone to me for free as a replacement, so I was fortunate not to have spent money on it. The criticisms are many, but I will just hilight a few of them:
Texting. There is obviously no qwerty keyboard, so you have to use the touchscreen in order to text. Normally this would be fine, if there were not frequent delays between letter selections because it freezes constantly. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to be texting with someone who has a qwerty, and/or a decent phone and they are rapid firing texts at you, and are three or for text ahead while you are still trying to answer the first one! The voice to text thing barely works, and is too much hassle to deal with because even though you take your time and enunciate clearly, MOST of the time...

I got this phone about 6 months ago. I don't seem to have the same problems that the other guy here has had. I would say that this thing was very uninspiring though.
It is extremely slow. My son is six and can't even stand to play Angry Birds on it cuz the birds fly so slow when you release them from the slingshot. Battery life honestly has been pretty decent. I can get usually two days out of it now cuz I really don't use it as a smart phone much. Only texting and calls.
Yes, when you reboot it if you have to, it's a 5 minute process. Slow as hell to come to life. The camera is pretty low pixel. The pics are ok but not great. No flash either. That kinda sucks. I would pass if I were you. Plus side, if you want a cheap smart phone, you'll get what you pay for
