I bought this item from MobileCityOnline. Before buying, i contacted them to be sure that the model offered (GT-I8160L) was compatible with my operator's 3G data service and it was!. Please beware that there are two models for the Ace 2 where the only difference is the 3G band compatibility.

Model ------- 3G Bands support
GT-I8160 ---- 900/2100 MHz (Digitel in Venezuela for example. Most operators in Europe use these bands).
GT-I8160L --- 850/1900 MHz (AT&T in USA, Movilnet/Movistar in Venezuela for example. Most operators in the american continent use these bands).

At first blush the phone seems to perform great. Nice screen and resolution, android gingerbread (ICS comming soon) and vga front camera. Worth spending US$ 20-30 more in comparison to the ace and ace plus. Despite the price difference, the phone is still at a good price considering the specs provided.

You can't go wrong with this phone.

2. Will NOT get 3G from T-mobile
I bought this phone thinking what a great deal for a mid-range smartphone and then found out that it would not support the 3G from T-mobile. T-Mobile uses the 1700/2100 mhz frequency for their 3G network. You need the phone to support BOTH frequency in order to get 3G. Maybe AT&T supports the frequencies on this phone. Check with carrier before buying! I had to return this and get a different phone. Also, if you want the NFC enabled phone, make sure to get the i8160P version. P=NFC...no P means no NFC. Hope this helps!

Tech specifications available online indicate 900/2100 MHz for 3G (not 850/2100 MHz as Amazon states) so may not work with some operators in US.

1. Good Phone with Many Set Backs
I've been a loyal tmobile customer for as long as I can remember and I'm a huge fan of the android line. Prior to this phone, I've owned the G1, the MyTouch (several versions), and the G2. This phone is definitely more refined. It has a great user interface, a nice sleek and clean look, and what would be very user friendly if it wasn't for a few painful setbacks. The memory on the phone does not clear itself so you are forced to restart the phone quite often in order to gain access to many features. the camera (photo and video), youtube videos, media players, almost none of your media will simply not work and display an error message until you restart your phone. This can be quite annoying. One of the luxuries of having a smart phone is to be able to simply whip it out anywhere during conversation to show someone something or to capture a moment. We live in a fast paced environment nowadays and this phone simply cant keep up with that. The fact there is no flash on the phone is also a...

2. Fantastic Device!
This is an amazing phone! I purchased this to replace my Blackberry 9700 because it was starting to act crazy. It got to the point where the phone would freeze when a call came through only to unfreeze when the caller hung up. Finally fed up I chose to get this device. Originally I was not interested in this phone because I was still scarred from the G1 experience and wanted nothing more to do with Android. After my friends found out I was intensely looking into the HTC HD7 they worked diligently to change my mind and steer me back to Android. This smartphone does everything and more. I will be as detailed as possible about this device.

When I received the package I found that it was very well put together. The box, of course, was open because the dealer needed to remove the sim card and to unlock the phone. Otherwise the phone was pristine and looked like I had ordered it from Tmobile. The items that were included was the phone, travel charger...

Best android in the market my opinion.
After a few months of having the phone in my possession. I decided to write a review, the phone itself is very slim, and portable. When comparing the the galaxy 4g with the newest iTouch. The galaxy 4g is way lighter than the iTouch. In my opinion its a very important factor because it isn't heavy or bulky in my pocket. Sometimes I have even check my pockets to make sure it's there that's how light it is.
** Battery Life**
The phone comes included with a 1650 mah battery a usb cable and the usb adapter for wall charging. A full charge takes usually about 1hr to 1hr 30 min, and it last me about 1 1/2 day to 2 full days. Normally I use the phone to check my email several times throughout the day, surf the web, send an average of 6 calls per day and several texts.
** LCD ***
One of the good things about the phone is it's LCD. It has 4in screen it appears to be better than the iPhone's screen. It's bright and full of color, ideal to watch movies in HD...

Let me begin by saying I'm an economist. Logos do not impress me. Excellent price/performance ratios impress me. Although I must admit, the Exhibit II is a fairly beautiful phone in real life; don't let the photos scare you.

This powerful yet humble device has the same memory (512MB RAM) and CPU speed (1GHz) as the iPhone 4. And, dare I say, it actually makes phone calls. It even has a larger screen than the latest $700+ iPhone 4S. Still with me?

Why I bought this phone (with a new prepaid plan):

>1. Freedom: With T-Mobile's prepaid plans, you can start or stop your service anytime without any fines. You can switch carriers, sell your phone, and walk away without even saying goodbye.

I picked it up at Wal-Mart because of their exclusive $30 monthly plan with 100 talk minutes, unlimited text, and unlimited web (first 5GB at 4G speed per month, rest of the month slows down to EDGE). I'll tell you, I have never reached my 5GB limit, and I'm a heavy Internet user! T-Mobile's 4G HSPA+ network is really good, considering the price. Of course it's spotty in some places with T-Mobile being the way it is, but...

Awesome phone at this price and great plans
I have been researching pre paid phones and plans for a while now and this phone with the pre paid plans T-mobile has is a great deal. The phone is really nice for a $200 buyout phone. It has great sound quality (both earpiece and speakerphone). I am coming from the original Droid on Verizon. The camera on the phone is very decent. Certainly as good as the 5mp on the Droid and faster too. I like T mobiles wi-fi calling from home..it allows me to run on my own wifi system if T-Mobiles signal is weak indoors. Video chat using Gtalk works very well. The phone comes with Kies Air for wireless transfers from your laptop and Yelp (for finding all those nice places to do business with). The GPS system works very well and the web is super fast on T-Mobiles great 4G (and I get it almost everywhere even in places my friends do NOT get Wimax on Sprint. I bought a factory unlocked iphone 5 from this vendor while I was in the visiting friends in USA in December. When I opened the sim tray it stroke me that there was an ATT nano Sim there. Back home, I tried to activate the phone with my carrier from Argentina (Movistar) and the phone could not activate saying that my carrier's nanosim was imcompatible. So it seems like the iphone is actually locked (probably to ATT). We do not have oficial Apple Stores in my country so I'm stuck. Fortunatelly, I am travelling again to the USA in 15 days soI will book an appointment at San Francisco's Apple store to see if the can confirm that the iphone is locked and hoperfully they can swap it for an unlocked unit.

I have paid more than 700 dolars and I can't use this phone. This is outrageous.

Have you ever gotten a new phone and thought, "wow this phone makes my other phones seem so dated"? I can say that this is that phone, the LG G2 is AMAZING...funny thing is, my last two phones were the HTC One (AT&T) and the iPhone 5 (AT&T). 2. Amazing phone
I just purchased this phone two days ago for AT&T.

It is absolutely amazing. Coming from an iPhone 4S, it is at least as fast if not faster in all things. This includes the interface, which is buttery smooth, something I had not experienced on older Androids when I had demoed them.

The LG software is unobtrusive, but adds some powerful features, including the ability to launch some common apps (such as the dial pad, the calendar, and the calculator) in a *resizeable* *floating* window. This allows for multi-tasking almost like a Windows desktop, and it easily beats any other smartphone multi-tasking I have seen.

This phone has already been "rooted" just a few days after release, so those who wish to customize it heavily will have that option. Personally, I use it in an Enterprise work environment, so I will likely keep it "stock" but the customizations even without root are mind-blowing.

I'm a harsh critic when it comes to electronics and most of the time every device is good until you use it for some time so longevity wise the verdict is still out on this one but i'll have to say I'm utterly shocked that LG has put out such a well rounded device. 1. Extremely Happy But Still Miss My Physical Keyboard
This Galaxy S4 Mini cell phone is intriguing. While on one hand it represents the Galaxy S4 line. It is a different beast in several respects: 1. It is smaller and much easier to one hand thumb swipe. 2. It has a beautiful clear screen albeit smaller than the S4 and wonderful responsiveness the capacitive touch sensitivity.

That being said, I lament the loss of a physical keyboard (I came from a Motorola XPRT, Android 4.0) and a Palm Pre before that and a Blackberry before that. On any of those devices I could start typing and the contextual aspects would present an on-screen list of relevant items. For example, type "Brent" and each of those devices would start doing a universal search and present a link for BRENT phone call link, BRENT last SMS message, BRENT latest email, BRENT calendar appointment, BRENT contact record, BRENT Google search results,

The S4M requires 3 taps in different areas of the screen before the keyboard is even presented. It's far...

2. Intuitive, responsive, packed with options.
Phone is quick, responsive, easy to use - intuitive, but packed with options. Great screen, too. For those who got used to On button on the top, this phone come with the button on the side (that's becoming standard). The only drag is the battery - so keep a charger close to you / battery barely lasts a day (but, I am a heavy user). Also, if you are suffering from SFS or FFS (short finger syndrome or fat finger syndrome) like I do (I wear gloves size 8), then take a note: this is the last phone size that feels comfortable (4.3 in). Headphones are good and clear, but just a bit short for me (that's a matter of taste and practicality). What else... I guess that's it for now / been using it for less then a week.

This phone met my needs for an unlocked, quad-band, GSM ready phone to use while in Europe. It has become my travel phone and allows me to purchase only the SIM cards and minutes that I need when I enter a country. 2013.08.06: Here is the latest update. I was contacted by the seller (Mobile Best Sellers) apologizing that they had a distribution error with this product, and they sent me the wrong model of the phone. A few dozen people were affected by this error. FYI, I got the Samsung GT-E1182 (no "L" at the end), which is dual band, not quad-band.

I've returned the phone, and got a full refund on it.

At least, this makes sense now. I still find the title of this product confusing: "Samsung GT-E1182L" (which, I suppose, is quad band), AND "E1182" (which is dual band). So, if someone orders this phone, which one will they get?

1. Cool phone, great price!
I just received the phone today and so far really like it. The touch screen for using speed dial is a nice feature, as well as the many different ways to set shortcuts without needing to slide out the full keyboard. The camera quality seems really good too. I found several places to download free ring tones, and also bought an accessory package which includes a spare wall charger, car charger, and USB cable for less than $5.

I did have one initial problem which caused me to not be able to receive MMS/picture messages. I found the answer in an AT&T user forum, all I had to do is do a master reset (which doesn't erase any data), using the passcode 0000, and picture messages worked fine after that.

Pros:
Lots of shortcut key customization
Touch screen for quick speed dialing

Decent camera (haven't tired video yet)

For my LG Neon cell . . . . .
I use this as a GoPhone, for emergency calls and texting. The call sound quality is disputable, but the QWERTY keyboard makes it easy to use. The only thing I really dislike is the message alert, which allows only one alert or an alert every 2 minutes. I was used to an alert initially, then a simple beep every 5 mins thereafter. BUT this is the 2nd Neon I have, after the down key on the 1st stopped working properly, so am happy enough with it for my purposes.

The 3 1/2" screen (size of I Phone) was to small, the G3 was to large and the S3-MINI, well a perfect size to read, write and keep in a pants or shirt pocket. Speed is fast in 3G, just DO NOT load your phone up with every app you find or you can experience some major slowing. This is not a 3g Mini issue, this applies to any smart phone on the market.

As the title states, this phone WILL work on 3G in South America using MOVISTAR, TIGO or CLARO. I travel there quite a bit and tested this phone on my last trip using each of the three companies Sim chips. The 3G data was transmitted on the 850 band width. Just make sure your phone is the "L" model. I have found the 3G speeds to be fine for GPS directions and turn by turn mapping while driving. No phone freezing or lag time.

In the U.S, this phone will work in 3G on AT&T, either a contract or " Go Phone". IT WILL NOT WORK WITH T-MOBILE in 3G data. It will work with T-Mobile on their 2G bands...

2. Received wrong phone!
First I was excited because the phone worked pretty well... then I figured out that they send me the wrong model of this phone! it suppose to have the L in the model as advertised... but they send me the model without the L, and as it was supposed to be used in Latinamerica 3g wouldn't work! beware about the seller, and check if its the correct model.

What's Not To Like??
This phone is awesome!!! I bought the GT-i8190L, based on the reviews and the fact that it works well in Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe, where I spend a lot of time. It even works in Afghanistan and Dubai on the Etisalat and Roshan Networks!

If I had this phone 3 years ago, I would never have purchased an iPod, because this phone does everything my iPod does in addition to the phone function. The sound quality is excellent, it plays videos and music seamlessly, the bluetooth function works seamlessly, The Kindle app works, email is awesome, surfing the net is awesome. This is an awesome phone. I ordered it, and got discouraged because it said it was going to take a whole month to deliver. It came here in 2 weeks! False Advertisement. Phone is international so its uncompatible with EVERYTHING! I can't download ANY apps and the wifi sucks!
First things first, this ad does not say galaxy sIII mini but thats exactly what the sticker on the phones screen read when I opened the almost EXACT box that galaxys come in! So of coursr, I was expecting the same great quality and handy apps that I know the galaxy phones possess and the google app store have. I have 4g service through my provider yet this phone is always stalling, freezing, or just acting up. I called the samsung service center thinking this was a samsung galaxy, and they could help me with these tecnical issues and what not, that is when I was informed that the IMEI number went to some old Nokia flip phone. I kept trying to convince him that this was a galaxy SIII because it said so on my phone. He then asked me where I brought the phone from, and that's how we established that this was an international phone. Not as advertised
The phone was advertised as being unlocked, and when I received it... it was not. I followed the steps as the email instructed and even called the seller and it did exactly as he said and still would not take my sim card. I attempted to call again and his phone was off. I have to pay extra money to get it unlocked. I am not satisfied whatsoever. I had hoped to just put my sim card in, follow the steps and go. A lot of the reviews here criticize everything about the phone, some of these things i cannot deny, such as the pocket dialing, random screen freezes and shutdowns, and a primitive touch screen. BUT, i have owned this phone for 4 years now, and after watching phones evolve over time there are a few things that I absolutely love about the phone.

- One of the beast Non smart phones I can find (I don't pay any data fees, but I know peoples plans vary)
- The camera takes great photos and videos
- The BEST *physical* keyboard I have used on a phone
- Micro SD HC storage (I am using an 8 gb card)

I had this phone for 2 years, but switched to a stupid samsung intensity 2 over the summer because it was time for an update. I didn't want to waste the money for the data fee on a smart phone.
My new phone has been a piece of garbage since the day I got it. I was so close to tears when I walked into verizon and they said they stopped making the EnVtouch. I loved it so much that I wanted another one. I never had problems with the touch screen, I actually liked the sensitivity of it because I have long nails, so it was so perfect for me! It didn't fit into my skinny jeans very well, but the full flip up keyboard with the internal screen was awesome. Most of the retailers on this site are selling used phones advertised as new. I personally have done business with one retailer, Cellphones-4u. The phone arrived in a Verizon box, unsealed, loosely floating in a plastic tray, not an LG box as it should have been. You could tell the wall charger was extremely used and subsequently, didn't work. Immediate RED flag. Called Verizon, gave them the MEID# that is located inside the battery compartment. The lady told me that the phone had been used on the separate accounts. So it spent most of it's life in shipment. Cellphones-4u keeps insisting that it is new from Verizon. Ever since I watched the Samsung Galaxy S4 launch at "Radio City Music Hall" I've wanted this phone. They made the gesturing and eye tracking look so awesome! However both are difficult to use, and cut my battery life in half. I had Android HTC Sensation before and syncing with my Outlook and 5 identities I use was an issue. Also there were problems with using the calendar on Android. I have now synced all my outlook email accounts (including gmail) with my Lumia. The outlook calendar now works well.
I was worry about the apps, but actually I have everything I need. I even use google maps.
The battery life is spectacular. I go on for 2 days on a single charge as I do not use it as phone that much, however, I do a lot of radio streaming and use data/emails/web all the time.
The voice call quality is outstanding.

I also uploaded some music to Lumia and it automatically downloaded covers - all this without using iTunes.

The camera is good, probably and overkill for my needs. There is a separate button, just for the camera, and you can take pictures without going through waking up the phone and unlocking.

I travel a lot and this phone is simply spectacular.

2. Awesome phone...
I wasn't sure if I wanted a Windows phone.... I have had both iPhones and Androids with my latest phone being the Galaxy S4, which is a great phone. However, after buying a laptop/tablet hybrid which had Windows 8 loaded I became more intrigued with the metro style of Windows. Once you get used to it, I like it a lot. Everything is fairly well integrated and you can easily move between programs and access programs quickly. The live tiles are great, I just wish maybe they gave you another page instead of one big long page for the tiles.

Now, this phone specifically is very snappy. I really haven't had any lag and the photos taken by the phone are phenomenal. I can quickly access the camera with a quick press/hold of the camera button and it is open and I am snapping photos fast.

Cons: The app store is a bit light on programs but that is improving daily. Also, the back of the phone has the lens raised up a bit so it makes it a bit awkward to hold at certain...

1. Great Phone...With Limitations
This phone is a great product by HTC.

By comparison it is compact. It's relatively smaller than most smartphones, which is the main reason I purchased it (I need to use the phone for business purposes and I didn't want to tote around a large phone that would be damaged easily or be expensive to replace). It is very well built. The housing is metal and it has withstood a few short drops on concrete floors without a scratch.

There are limitations with this phone, however:

1. Battery isn't easily replaced.

2. The frequency bands this phone operates on are based on European bands and depending on your location you may not get 3G/4G speeds. Where I live my carrier broadcasts 3G/4G speeds on the 1900 MHz band; this phone only picks them up on the 2100MHz band. So I'm stuck with EDGE (2G) speeds in my area.

2. I want to love it, but the One V has been a major disappointment
I've had this phone for 10 months and for about half the time I loved it and the other half it's been a real problem.

What I love most is the camera, it's very fast to focus, takes great pics outdoors and not too bad pics in good indoor light. I use it a LOT and it's the reason I want to keep this phone.

Call quality has always been good. Web browsing has been adequate for what I need although a bigger screen would be nice. But screen quality and clarity is great.

The downside is all the technical problems it now has. It's been in for repair twice and so far the issues are still there. The screen started to go nuts with 'phantom' finger touches, as if someone were jabbing at the screen at random moments, opening apps, closing screens, doing whatever. After two 'repairs' it now has the opposite issue, where the screen won't respond at all to any touch and I have to restart it often in the hopes it will reset enough to work for awhile before it goes...

Overall a great phone
I love this little guy. Yeah it's not the fastest or the latest and greatest but it does perform really well. I use straight talk w it and sometimes att works great. I LOVE the design just beautiful for the price point. I like this phone much better than HTC one x. The battery life is fantastic lasting all day with moderate to heavy use. Call quality is clear and loud. It's running ICS right out of the box and I can make this phone into a hot spot. Love being able to expand my memory.
Cons are few. If you buy unlock expect the European charger with an adapter. The phone is a little slow since it uses a single. No front facing camera but it does have a pretty good 5 mega pixel camera. Stock keyboard is terrible but any third party app you can fix that. Don't recommend live wall paper, slows down phone.
Overall I'd buy again. I purchased the htc one x because I liked this phone so much only to sell because it was to big and battery below average. If your a causal smartphone...

Problem:
This phone was sold as NEW and unlocked and we received it promptly after the Sept. 13th order fulfillment.
On Oct 24th, the Phone failed completely. It would not re-start with soft and hard reset. It continued to be locked up completely with unresponsive touch on a fully energized main screen (the first "unlock" display present and waiting). The unit was taken to a local Apple Store (while we were traveling, Tampa Florida) and the Apple service agent checked the Apple database to discover that the unit was out of their one year warranty period by about 2 months.

This phone also exhibited minor problems in use: Screen colors were tinted slightly orange; Apple locator on Google Maps had trouble locating the unit. We were willing to "pass" on these performance issues, but not now with a "dead" locked phone. When we took this phone to the Apple store, the technician also noted that the red water damage indicator had gone off. In the 6 weeks we had the...

I had two issues after receiving the iphone, one the center or home button was hard to push, after only one day of use - the screen displayed the itunes logo and a usb cable, i tried turning on/off several times and tried reloading thru itunes-failed due to iphone being unlock, this according to vendor i purchased the phone from. I have since aquired a SIM Card holder, just to find out the the unlocked phone I purchased was locked. Because I know a little something about this phone, it is working find now. When I first got my phone, it seemed to work perfectly with my carrier in Venezuela (Movilnet) even thought it had a problem with the WiFi connection. Pase dias buscando en Amazon.com un equipo que funcionara en todas las bandas y estos ladrones lo ofrecen aun a sabiendas que no lo tienen. Espero que Amazon tome cartas en el asunto con estos pillos. Incluso responden groseramente a los correos. Estaba tan contento con el aparato que los califique positivamente aun cuando el equipo que llegó es visiblemente viejo. Los plasticos estan rayados y no trae las conexiones electricas para Europa y China, propias de Blackberry (he comprado varios equipos). Se congela, no carga la batería, no prende, no apaga, terrible.

I bought this cellphone because the description says that is factory unlocked, but its false, the cellphone is programmed with the Bouygues Telecom from France, and its works only with the 900/2100 3g band.

1. Phone is good, but it was not unlocked!
The phone looked good, operated well. I was planning to gift this to my cousin who lives overseas. I ordered this phone and got it on time, but just 2 days before the journey overseas and when I tried to use the phone with a GSM sim, it said ... "Activate it through Verizon". When I called Verizon, they said that the phone was unlocked, but the seller "Master Reset" this phone before sending to me, and thus, it locked the phone again to Verizon. However, Verizon did not have the key to unlock - they wanted me to register for Verizon and after 6 months, they can unlock it - and asked me to call BlackBerry to see if they can help. BlackBerry customer service is a PAIN! They flat out denied any help to me. So, I had to return it, as I do not have enough time to go through the steps with the seller. Please buy this phone with the knowledge that you need to have a working session with the seller to re-unlock the phone after you get this. If you are already with Verizon,...
